Position: Combo Location Manager Funeral Director

Location: Los Osos, CA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional Funeral Director to join our team and manage a combo location. As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to assist families in planning and arranging funeral services, providing support, and ensuring that all aspects of the funeral process run smoothly. If you have a strong leadership skills, committed to growth and development, have a high attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others during difficult times, this may be a good fit for you.

Duties:

• Oversee all aspects of the funeral home’s operations, including staff management, budgeting, and facilities maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing funeral service operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to families, guiding them through the funeral planning process with empathy and professionalism.
• Coordinate and oversee funeral arrangements, including visitations, services, and burials or cremations.
• Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, invoicing, and documentation.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the funeral home’s reputation and market presence.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.

Skills:

• Licensed funeral director in the state of California, or ability to reciprocate. (2 years of licensed experience)
• Previous experience in funeral home management or a related field strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others during difficult times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
