What a Machine Operator will do :
- Maintain knowledge of different materials and meet cutting requirements of all parts and their quality standards
- Utilize order listing to determine the size and amount to cut
- Utilize material efficiently
- Verify proper machine operations
What you need to be a Machine Operator :
- Ability to read specification drawings that assist in learning how to properly assemble finished parts
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret a tape measure
- Organizational skills to allow for continuous running of the machine
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use computerized equipment in daily operations
- Ability to stand all day, handle large slabs of foam, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
