What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fab Shop Worker position at DOHERTY STEEL, INC.?

Newly hired employees will receive a Sign-On bonus of $1,000, to be paid half at 90 days of employment and half at 6 months of employment.

DOHERTY STEEL, INC. is looking for fulltime Shop Workers in our fab shop.

List of possible job functions: 
  • Operation of bridge crane’s and other material-handling equipment
  • Sawing
  • Grinding
  • Welding
  • Painting
  • Fitting
  • Operation of cutting and coping equipment

General requirements:
  • Can take directions
  • Works well with others
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to work overtime, when necessary.
  • Gives proper attention to detail.
  • Works smart and safe.
