A lively and affectionate family residing in Aspen, CO, is in search of a full-time, live-out nanny to care for their three children aged 7, 5, and 3. The children possess a curious and kind nature, with vivid imaginations and a profound sense of awe about the world. They desire an individual with a warm and cheerful personality who possesses a high level of energy and enthusiasm to interact and be active with the children. Someone who is genuinely excited to play with the children (and not just watch them play) will be the right fit for this role.
The ideal candidate will frequently engage in reading sessions, create stimulating activities, and take the children on excursions. It is essential to spend ample time outdoors and engage in physical activities such as sports, swimming, skiing, hiking, etc. Hence, applicants must have prior experience and a genuine fondness for working with young children and the outdoors. The cleints are not looking for someone who is merely an "observer" in the children's lives. Be active and engaged!

- Schedule: During the school year: five day workweek, which will include some work most weekends
- During the school year generally Sunday-Thursday with flexibility
- Travel: Frequent in the summer and around school vacations. Less travel during the school year. Traveling and working with the family while traveling is a requirement of the job so travel should excite you!

Responsibilities:
- Plan, participate in, and supervise activities with children, which may include imaginative play, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, classes, school work, reading daily, etc.
- Play with the children and encourage active play, sports, and games, and be active
- Drive the children to/from school and other activities, playground outings, playdates, etc.
- Research and plan activities that have substantial child developmental, social relationship skills, and educational value
- Tend to the children’s basic needs such as providing meals/snacks, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, and naps
- Assist in getting the children ready for school (lay out clothes, layout warm weather gear, prepare water bottles, pack a backpack, etc.), any activities (e.g., clothes and shoes for basketball, snack, water bottle, etc.), and put those things away after return from school/activities
- The nanny should be able to prepare food for the children and help tidy up after them as well. While we expect the position to entail minimal housework, cleaning up after the kids (toys, meals, etc.) is part of the job. A can do-spirit around the household is appreciated.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience working with young children
- 2 years of full-time nanny experience is preferred, although less-experienced candidates may still be considered
- Recent experience as a nanny for a family with at least two children
- A clean driving record and willingness to drive children
- CPR certification, or willingness to get certified
- Current vaccinations (including documentation of a COVID-19 vaccine and all boosters, and willingness to continue to get all boosters recommended by the CDC as well as an annual flu shot)
- Comfortable agreeing to wear a mask or test for COVID, as requested by the family
- Fluent English speaker
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Excellent references
- College education or some college preferred
- Willingness to travel and live in multiple locations for periods of time
- Must be able to swim
- Ability to ski or snowboard is preferred
- Must be able to maintain a gluten-free diet while in the home due to allergies
Compensation & Benefits:
- Monthly housing stipend
- Relocation assistance
- Up to $110,000 per year | Depending on Experience
- The hired candidate will be paid hourly and will be eligible for OT
- Up to $500 per month towards healthcare
- 10 days of paid vacation
- 6 paid holidays
- Eligible for a performance bonus
