Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable Pet Sitter to join our team.

As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to pets while their owners are away. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about animals and enjoy working in a flexible and rewarding environment.

we are looking for a pet sitter Upcountry. Our ideal candidate can do AM-Midday-PM visits to pet's homes based on our bookings. This position is great for someone who works remotely or has a steady source of income as this position will offer supplemental income.

Duties: Provide food, water, and exercise to pets according to their specific needs

- Administer medications or treatments as instructed by pet owners

- Clean and maintain pet areas, including cages, litter boxes, and outdoor spaces

- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the owner or veterinarian

- Engage in playtime and provide companionship to ensure the emotional well-being of the pets - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any other special care requirements

-Take dogs on walks

- Communicate with pet owners on a regular basis to provide updates on their pets' well-being - Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including contacting veterinarians if necessary

Skills we are looking for:

- A love for animals is a must! W are looking for heart centered individuals that love caring for animals.

- A Team player! We are a small business and help each other out. We are looking for A-players that want to commit to at least 6-months with us and who can be flexible with their schedule.

- Knowledge of dog training techniques is beneficial, but more important the willingness to want to grow and learn is what we are looking for. Training is provided.

- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners - Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., carrying large dogs)

- Familiarity with basic animal handling protocols and safety measures

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
