Don Thornton Cadillac is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Collision Center Porter. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the collision center, as well as assisting with various tasks to support the collision repair process. This individual will contribute to the overall success of our dealership by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a pay rate of $17 per hour. The pay will be provided on a biweekly basis. Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain the collision center facilities, including tools, equipment, and customer areas
• Assist with organizing and monitoring inventory of parts and supplies
• Move vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently within the collision center
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Support technicians with any additional tasks as needed, including prepping vehicles for repairs and making necessary parts deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in an automotive collision center preferred
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Must pass a drug test and background check
