Summary :
The Bindery Operator Specialist will operate our state-of-the-art high speed roll fed saddle stitchers and inline / offline folders.
Must work safely at all times to provide our clients with high quality documents in a timely manner.
Schedule :
7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday.

Job requires ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain the saddle stitcher and folders.
- Set up / Make Ready machine.
- Check job specifications.
- Perform quality checks.
- Maintain daily production logs.
- Maintain inventory level of consumables.
- Work closely with production, coordinators, other operators, and other departments.
Qualifications :
- Able to perform arithmetic, algebraic and geometric procedures in standard practical applications.
- Able to read and interpret work instructions.
- Ability to use maintenance shop tools and equipment along with interpreting methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
- Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communication, using proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
- Able to work alone or in a team environment.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge bindery / finishing equipment including, set up, adjustments, operating procedures, and the corresponding level of skill to perform such tasks.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems affecting the quality and timeliness of products and services.
- Ability to make corrective adjustments when performance requires the operator to consider the symptoms along with the potential causes and remedies.
