Position Overview :

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at our location on 12910 Central Ave SE in Albuquerque.

The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and ensure proper functioning of vehicle components.
• Complete repair orders in a timely manner while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and repair recommendations.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent work experience.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation :

Flat rate pay starting at $20 per flat rate hour, with the potential to increase up to $45 per flat rate hour based on experience and performance.
