About the job:
The purpose of this position is to lead signature external and internal events at Donor Network of Arizona to promote donation in the Arizona community. This individual will build partnerships by working with local and national organizations to increase donation registration in the Arizona community. This position will also help produce marketing collateral needed for external Arizona audiences.
Job Responsibilities:
Organizes and executes signature events, such as Donate Life at the Capitol, Donate Life Day at the D-backs, and Symposium, as assigned:
Develops sponsorship packages and coordinates with sponsors throughout event and project planning process
Reviews proofs and provides edits for all event printed or promotional materials
Oversees delegation of tasks to DNA staff and leads progress meetings
Coordinates event logistics and creates detailed day-of-event plans including assignments and packing lists
Analyzes event feedback and complete event wrap up forms outlining all event details and suggestions for improvement
Performs effective project management for other assigned events, target groups, and other responsibilities as needed:
Leads or assists key marketing campaigns or projects as needed, such as:
Creation, production and distribution of “Recipes of Remembrance” cookbook.
Creation and distribution of holiday gifts to DNA partners/contacts.
Creation, compilation and distribution of annual Donation Calendar.
Is an active and supportive member of the Marketing and Communications department.
Presents for Donor Network of Arizona and/or Donate Life Arizona.
Focuses on project improvements and developments.
Data driven and knowledgeable about donation.
Collaborates with and/or mentors others on projects and events. (
Encourages donation registration.
Effectively communicates and maintains professionalism
Achieves individual and department goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum
Education:
Bachelor’s
degree in communication, education, public relations, etc.
Minimum
Experience:
1
– 2 years of experience
Preferred
Experience:
Two
years of experience in event planning, communication, public relations.
