Commercial Door Technician

Door Specialists, Inc., is a commercial/industrial door company in search of highly skilled installers and technicians. We install, repair, maintain, and service all types of commercial and industrial doors. We are looking for a FULL-TIME installation technician to join our team. The installation technician will work with the Project Management team to install, service, and maintain various types of doors &/or hardware in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires a person who is detail-oriented, has a high sense of urgency, and is able to work in a team environment, as well as individually. We offer top pay, a professional & positive work environment and many opportunities for advancement. We provide all tools and equipment, company truck (after a probationary period), & etc.

You must have a MINIMUM of 5 years experience working as a commercial (NOT RESIDENTIAL) door installer/technician in order to be considered for this position. We are looking for a true "Door Man" that is a seasoned trade professional. Candidate must be highly proficient at installation as well as repair and troubleshooting. Candidate must be dependable, posses a valid drivers license and a good driving record. Candidate must be drug free with a clean criminal background, have a good attitude and preform work pridefully and efficiently. Please send resume or work history with professional references .

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• MINIMUM 5 years of experience in the commercial door industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (included Pre-employment drug screening)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.26 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
