About the Role

The Fraud Analyst is a high level operator who will act as the “go to” investigator and problem solver for fraud specialist work and projects. They will analyze specialist work through auditing, data collection, and trend analysis. They will be subject matter experts for multiple processes and fraud behaviors, acting as a liaison between leadership initiatives and daily operations. The Fraud Analyst will also conduct their own investigations, being sure to utilize their skill set to create data-driven insights and decisions. 

This role reports directly to the Fraud Operations Supervisor, and will work closely with Sr. Project Analysts to support project and analytics needs.

  • Identify potential fraud where detection methods do not already exist, and develop processes and tools to mitigate new fraud.
  • Own the construction of processes, dashboards and tools from scratch, implementing new ideas and supporting overall team success through a commitment to data.

  • Lead wide-ranging initiatives that streamline the team’s work, and allow for simple and transparent reporting to external teams.

What you bring to the table…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of fraud investigation experience.
  • At least 1 year of project leadership experience.
  • A detail-oriented approach to your work. You can manage multiple, concurrent work streams where every detail matters
  • Technical Expert. You are able to create new tools to increase efficiency of work in alignment with strategic goals. Experience in Excel/Sheets, SQL, and similar data insight tooling.
