About The Role
We’re hiring a Simulation Infrastructure Software Engineer. In this role, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Operations to develop and improve our simulation infrastructure. You’ll be researching, designing and implementing solutions to enable large scale simulation for autonomous vehicle testing.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

About The Role
We’re hiring a Simulation Infrastructure Software Engineer. In this role, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Operations to develop and improve our simulation infrastructure. You’ll be researching, designing and implementing solutions to enable large scale simulation for autonomous vehicle testing.
You’re Excited About The Role Because
- Play an integral role on a small and focused team
- Design and implement infrastructure to enable autonomous vehicle simulation. Including:
- Large-scale distributed simulation execution
- Scenario mining & management
- Tooling for result reporting, triage & analysis
- Design and implement robot data and metrics pipelines
- Collaborate with autonomy teams to contribute to ensuring the safety of our autonomous vehicles.
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field
- 4 years of experience as a software engineer
- In-depth knowledge of data structures and advanced algorithms.
- Strong python programming experience
- Experience with distributed data processing
- Experience using SQL to ask pointed questions from large, semi structured data sets
- Nice to have:
- C experience
- SQL
- Robotics domain experience/knowledge
