Job Information

As a Forklift Product Support Field Representative you will provide product, technical support, and training for company forklift trucks.

Responsible for growth within National Accounts service groups, warranty analysis, and troubleshooting in field.

Their job is to work with Dealer Accounts and analyze and review their service components and elevate by means of training and being able to support the products in the field.

More than technical advice they try to work with Dealer Accounts service groups with product warranty and service management.

Triage warranty claims at the Dealer Accounts level They resolve the solutions from the time of the claim initiation until the claim is processed and closed.

Via the service call center.

Role & Responsibility

• Provide product support for company manufactured forklifts within assigned territory.
• Support internal departments with service-related inquiries or projects.
• Training-Conduct training to support Dealer Accounts service representatives
• Enter all relevant calls into the Service Call Center
• Follow up of all territory issues on a weekly basis
• Must file weekly report detailing activities to the general manager
• Review all high dollar warranty claims with warranty department
• Provide updated technical information to Dealer Accounts
• Communicates via message system to all internal partners

Job Requirement

Education Requirement : Associate's Degree in technical or related field. Extensive related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience Requirement : 2-5 years of experience in the product support field, preferably with material handling equipment.
• Technically astute, product knowledge preferred.
• Travel Required : 50 - 75%.
• Strong mechanical skills and equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and listening skills.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Ability to make sound, timely decisions.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills and priority focus, due to home-based office environment.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with clean Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) driving record.
