Production Scheduling Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler. As a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and planning production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. Duties:
- Create and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity

- Oversee multiple concurrent manufacturing schedules

- Schedule tufting machines, the continuous dye line, and internal/external finishing lines

- Ensure production deadlines are met

- Manage material and equipment availability
- Coordinate with various departments to gather information on material availability, equipment availability, and labor resources
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands or unexpected disruptions
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
- Communicate production schedules to the production team, ensuring they have all necessary information to carry out their tasks efficiently
- Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in production scheduling or related roles is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, such as Microsoft Excel or specialized scheduling software
