What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Dos Amigos?
Host (Front of House)
- Give a warm welcome to every customer
- Seat customers
- Manage a wait list
- Communicate customer concerns to the Manager when appropriate
- Answer telephone within three rings and direct calls and/or assist customer with placing To-Go orders
- Help fellow Team Members when appropriate
- Learn the set up of the dining area and table numbers
- Have knowledge of the menu to explain offerings to customers
- Ensure all To-Go orders are correct and go over order with customer to ensure their order is fulfilled
- Able to operate POS system for transactions
- Enter orders in proper sequence
- Cleaning, including performing opening and closing duties
- Must be available to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays as needed
