Job Title: Cashier/Food Server
Reports To: Owner, Manager
Job Overview: A Cashier/Food Server's responsibility is attending to diners by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders. They must also ensure timely delivery of food and beverages and checking on the tables periodically throughout the service time. Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing tables, and assisting with some dishes as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Provide excellent customer service
· Greet customers and make suggestions based on their preferences
· Stock utensils and napkins for customers
· Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
· Processes payments via POS system
· Cooperate and communicate with all kitchen staff
· Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and cusomer service guidelines
· Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
· Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen, and in the dining area while also helping with washing dishes
Qualifications
· Prior experience in related food and beverage service positions
· A Positive attitude and great customer service skills
· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
· Ability to work well with others
· Strong communication skills
· High school diploma or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
