Job Summary:

The Operations Manager (Assistant Store Manager) will lead team members and the operation of the store in partnership withthe Store Manager and senior leadership. This individual must possess excellent customer service skills torespond to the needs of customers and team members. The Operations Manager (Assistant Store Manager) must be self-motivated and ready to assist thestore manager with any tasks at hand. Thisposition is a high-potential role with opportunities to grow into Store Manager and Area Manager positions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Store Manager with daily tasks and store operations.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Assists with product merchandising.
• Provides a safe and clean store environment.
• Serves and greets all customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Resolves customer complaints.
• Maintains a neat and clean appearance.
• Ensures customers are of proper age to purchase alcohol and tobacco.
• Keeps track of store inventory.
• Initiates and implements new programs.
• Assists in the enforcement of company policies.
• Performs any additional tasks that may be needed.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required.
• At least 3 years of retail experience is required.
• Previous experience leading teams is preferred, but not required.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a positive and can-do attitude.
• Able to multitask and possesses critical decision-making skills.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate teams.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
