What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Trainer position at Dot Foods, Inc.?
Your Role: Provides on-the-job warehouse training for new employees and current employees and provides training on safety and other key job functions within the warehouse.
- Works to eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
- Works with floor supervision in coordinating floor activity.
- Executes work under direct supervision 25% of the time.
- Works independently setting work schedule priorities 75% of the time.
- Trains assigned warehouse floor workers.
Role Specifics:
- Schedule: Full-time (Sunday-Wednesday 6pm-4:30am); Some variance will occur depending on current training needs.
- Trains assigned personnel to accurately, consistently, and safely use warehouse management systems along with equipment and supplies.
- Travel: Occasional overnight travel required. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
- Working in below negative temperatures to high heat temperatures
- Serves as a coach and mentor to assigned personnel.
- Evaluates performance or assigned personnel.

- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- Work overnights
- Work overtime
