We are currently seeking a Weekend Kennel Technician to join our team and contribute to the high standard of care we provide.

Job Description:

As a Weekend Kennel Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of animals in our boarding facilities during weekends. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and positive environment for our clients' pets.

Responsibilities:

1. **Feeding and Watering:** Provide regular and timely feeding of animals according to specified diets. Ensure that all animals have access to clean and fresh water.

2. **Cleanliness and Maintenance:** Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of kennels and common areas. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for the animals.

3. **Monitoring and Record-Keeping:** Regularly observe and monitor the behavior, health, and activities of boarded animals. Keep detailed records of any observations or concerns.

4. **Exercise and Socialization:** Provide supervised exercise and playtime for boarded animals. Ensure that each animal receives adequate socialization and attention.

6. **Customer Interaction:** Interact with pet owners during drop-off and pick-up, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Gather relevant information about the pets and address any specific instructions or concerns.

7. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with veterinary staff and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of care for boarded animals.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a boarding facility or similar setting.

2. Basic knowledge of animal care, behavior, and dietary needs.

3. Ability to lift and carry animals of various sizes.

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment.

5. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

6. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
