JOB TITLE: Events operations Manager

SUMMARY: Responsibilities include supervising events and meeting functions throughout the hotel. Private, directing events staff in ensuring the guest’s expectations are met and exceeded. Maintains the highest standards of food and beverage service and is creative in room set-ups and presentations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes and monitors standards for events and operations including but not limited to personnel administration and performance and services to guests
Works closely with our Culinary Team and other appropriate staff to ensure the smooth and healthy operation of all events and meeting
Monitors overall condition of events and meeting rooms, pre-function area, public spaces, and outside grounds; ensure that that any deficiencies are rectified
Responsible for inspecting and preforming quality checks for rents prior to the scheduled start time of the event, if not available, to delegate supervisory positions
Maintains visibility and accessibility to guests, staff, and vendors; maintains effective communication with all staff to ensure event staff is performing at established standards
Ensure that guests needs are fulfilled and their experiences as pleasurable as possible; respond to guests' feedback, including complaints/problems; reviews compliments/complaints with dining room host/host and staff continually improve service
Enforces service standards for all events, meetings and related operations including innovative and creative food and beverage displays
Ensures that all functions are posted correctly on the event board in the lobby
Ensures that the written details of all assigned meetings and events are carried out properly
Serves as a liaison between event staff, culinary and sales department
Responsible for holding pre-function meetings with event staff to communicate all planned details and last-minute changes to banquets event order (BEO)
Supervise and direct sales areas of bar operations utilizing bar guides, brand standards, and hotel policies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,072.00 - $60,853.00 per year
