We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Public Area/House Attendant to join our hotel team! As the Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas of the hotel, such as lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and restrooms. You will ensure that these areas are presentable and inviting to our guests. Additionally, you will also provide exceptional customer service to our guests and assist with any special requests or tasks. Job Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and other public areas
- Ensure public areas are stocked with necessary supplies and materials
- Dust and polish furniture in lobbies and other areas
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors
- Empty trash receptacles
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues
- Assist guests with luggage and other requests
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed
- Ensure public areas are free from debris and clutter
- Maintain the appearance and tidiness of the public areas
- Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas
- Greet guests and answer questions about the hotel
- Ensure all public areas are properly stocked with supplies and amenities
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, replenish supplies, and perform general maintenance
- Report any safety or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
- Monitor public areas to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
- Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests
- Remain alert and attentive to guests’ needs
- Follow all department policies and procedures
