About Operations Team
Taking place as a branch of the Techops division, the operations team is the technical focal point of all the technical teams. While performing the operations and monitoring duties, the operations engineer is the know it all tech-savvy that is in charge of Doubleverify’s environments.
What will you do
- Collaborating with various dev teams in order to find solutions and help progressing dev activities
- Operating and maintaining DoubleVerify's production environments, including apps, servers and network
- Monitoring and administering Kubernetes, Linux and Windows systems. Taking appropriate actions on system alerts based on deep understanding and knowledge base
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployments on Tier 2\3 levels
- Maintenance of technical documentation (Internal operations team), processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
- Development of knowledge and skills in system administration, particularly with regards to DoubleVerify's own architecture and platforms
- Participation in 24/7/365 on-call rotation
Who you are
- 2 years Experience with monitoring systems and management tools in production environment (ex: Nagios)
- Familiarity with orchestration and containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) - Advantage
- Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash - Advantage
- Experience with automation/configuration management including Ansible, AWX, Jenkins - Advantage
- Experience with Kubernetes \ Kafka - Basic understanding.
- 2 years Windows/Linux administration skills
2 years Experience working with Virtual machines - Familiarity with cloud computing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent social skills
- Customer service oriented (inbound)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with technical documentation
