We are seeking an Assembly Lead
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
The assembly lead will oversee and lead the following operations: a variety of bench and structural assembly, boxing and bagging of parts, components, and assemblies for the company’s snowplow and ice control product lines. Assembly may be performed on a paced conveyor or in a non-paced environment. Lead may be required to set up and / or operate machinery and equipment. Actively participate in team and total quality commitment activities. Perform designated maintenance functions and maintain TPM records. Participate in training and auditing of shop floor associates and maintain 6-S standards. Lead will assume ownership for quality of all team functions.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Ownership for quality of all team functions
- Writes, trains to, and audits JIs
? Maintaining safe working conditions
? Hold team accountable to adhere to regulations, procedures, and policies.
? Monitor scrap and implement scrap reduction ideas.
? Keep team on pace to meet production requirements
? Track and report production metrics
? Foster teamwork and resolve conflict and issues on the floor
? Perform designated maintenance functions, and maintain accurate TPM records
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment
WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
- Ability to train others
- Perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Able to report daily production
- Strong communications skills both written and verbal
- Microsoft Office experience
- Perform basic math
- Ability to focus on multiple priorities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
