ATTENDANCE CLERKGLENDALE SCHOOL DISTRICTGlendale School District seeks qualified applicants for an ATTENDANCE CLERK position.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GENERAL INFORMATIONSalary/Pay Rate: $15.21 $19.42 per hourDays/Hours: 6 hours per day/ 4 days per weekDUTIESThis not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.1. Identify and document students with chronic absenteeism.2. Complete reports for district personnel as directed.3. Communicate attendance expectations to students and parents through use of letters and texting application program.4.
Assist school and district staff with home visits.5. Work with Absenteeism Committee to organize and purchase incentives.6. Collaborate and communicate with administration regarding students with chronic absenteeism.7. Assist students with completing their Personal Education Plan (PEP)8.
Collaborate with school staff to identify, connect with, and support students for successful completion of high school.9. Collect and track data and report their progress on a regular basis.10. Assist school administrators in supporting student academic progress.11. Assist in coordinating speakers, college visits and parent meetings.12.
