This is a middle management, collaborative position with responsibility to oversight and coordination of all logistics for daily residential programming. The Program Manager does not provide direct supervision to employees. Works collaboratively with the Coordination and Residential Teams to ensure structure, functioning, and direction of youths’ residential services. Program Manager reports directly to the Director of Programs and Director of Treatment Services collaboratively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work assigned schedule of 40 hours per week, reporting to work promptly as scheduled.

· Know and adhere to agency policies and procedures.

· Maintain positive working relationships with staff and residents.

· Maintain positive and professional working relationships with the general public, placement agencies, families and community members.

· Demonstrate an enthusiastic commitment to the job and agency.

· Accept and integrate feedback through formal supervision.

· Actively seek out new information and training in the field and apply these to the job.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

· Oversee daily logistics and scheduling for all youth in DCH main house program and collaborate with residential and coordination teams.

· Development and maintenance of staff schedules: responsible for completing all programmatic needs, utilizing relief staff in a fiscally thoughtful way when filling vacancies. Monitor overtime and paid time off with support from Director of Programs.

· Participate in primary on-call rotation.

· Coordinate intake process for residential admissions: referral screening, interviewing youth, and presenting referrals to Director of Programs and Director of Treatment Services.

· Collaborate with Coordination and Residential Teams to plan intakes, discharges, and other transitions for youth.

· Facilitate, coordinate, and/or participate in youth and programmatic team meetings.

· Participate in hiring process for direct care staff: review resumes, attend interviews, collaborate with Director of Programs in selecting candidates.

· Coordinate new-hire orientation tasks as assigned by Directors.

· Support day programming: coordinate coverage for day-programming gaps, first-shift medication captain, and on-duty for all programmatic phone calls.

· Approve youth residential activities and maintain monthly spreadsheet for budget and coordination of youth residential activities.

· Act as a liaison between residential/coordination teams, and directors: elevate needs and concerns in a timely manner.

· Promote an organizational culture of transparency, integrity, issue orientation, inquiry, and accountability.

· Provide coverage of PILOT House as requested by Directors.

· Review all incident reports daily and send reports to teams after approval from Directors.

· Coordinate youths’ court representation from DCH Coordination Team.

· Facilitate Coordination Teams’ completion of domain summaries for monthly progress reports and court reports. Act as the point of contact for sending documentation timely following approval from Director of Treatment Services (monthlies) and Director of Programs (court reports).

· All other tasks as assigned by Director of Programs, Director of Treatment Services and/or Directors Team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
