SUMMARY:

The Operations Support/Driver role will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of materials to and from vendors and/or customer work sites and assist with supply chain and operational functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pickup & Delivery of materials and contracted repair work from/to vendors and/or customer's site
• Must have ability to pull/back 16' trailer with load as needed.
• Understanding of how to properly load and secure parts to 16' 2 axle trailer not to exceed 10K and transport safely between Northern California and Cypress shop.
• Answering phone calls
• Coordinating with supply chain and operations leadership for daily requirements.
• Providing information and feedback to the operations/sales team
• Aptitude to learn on the job reciprocating compressors, parts, repair services and application requirements
• Timely and dependable on delivery and pickup commitments
• Performing regular safety check and coordinating company owned vehicle maintenance
• Willing to travel locally and some long distances throughout sales area (Northern CA) >250miles
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with our valued customers
• Assist Operations Supervisors, Machinists, and Material Handlers as needed.
• Loading/unloading of inbound/outbound freight
• Ability to work in shop environment cleaning parts or assisting with repairs as needed.
• Ability to complete work order requests, inspections, and any other documentation required for timely repair and service.
• Deliver a customer first attitude and able to think critically to make decisions on logistic demands

• This position will work under moderate supervision
• Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at time require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service, customer engagement and/or machine shop experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Steel Toe Boots/Shoes
• Must have a clean MVR
• Must attend company provided driver training prior to operating a company vehicle.
• Must wear required PPE at all Times when working shop or yard.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
• Some OT and Weekend work depending on customer demands.

Work Arrangement :Onsite

Salary Range 21.00 to 25.00/hr.
