Human Resource Generalist

Dover Flexo Electronics in Rochester, NH is actively recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist. This individual will be responsible for performing HR functions of a particular business unit, including but not limited to: employee relations, benefit administration, recruiting/staffing, and performance management.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, including dental, health, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability insurances, HSA and COBRA. Work directly with broker to research and recommend benefit options and oversee open enrollment. Assist with creation and implementation of employee benefit education plan. Assist employees with benefit related questions.
• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment as needed.
• Assist Management in regard to employee performance management as it relates to discipline, provides recommendations in regard to approach and process.
• Set up and maintain personnel and employee related files; archive as needed.
• Initiate and maintain records for internal employee changes (address, compensation, status, department, job, etc.); coordinate with payroll as needed.
• Facilitate employee termination process; perform employee exit interviews and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with design and implementation of internal training.
• Research options and mandates to enable proper implementation of personnel procedures.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field. Bachelor’s degree in same preferred.
• 2 years related experience in a Personnel (“HR”) environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of state and federal labor laws and regulations
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
