What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Builder position at Downtown Ace Hardware?
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional manner and provide extraordinary customer satisfaction. When deliveries are completed for the day, your duties will change to building patio furniture, grills, etc. until the end of your scheduled shift.

- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Inspect and confirm all merchandise for a delivery is carefully loaded and secured in the delivery vehicle
- Upon arriving at the delivery address, contact the customer (unless the delivery is prearranged contactless),
- Communicate with Patio Sales Associates, Builders, and Managers
- Complete logs and reports
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record in order to be added to our insurance
- Comfortable safely driving a medium sized box truck
- Ability to follow directions from a navigation system
- Ability to buddy lift large items like grills, patio furniture, etc.
- Ability to read and follow assembly directions
- $12.50 - $14.00 plus tips
