Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for on-site construction management team to plan, organize, and supervise multiple projects from inception through design, construction, commissioning and close-out.
- Own and manage all construction activities for semiconductor factory Central Utility Building (CUB).
- Ownership of the site construction milestone tracker to deliver the critical performance indicators.
- Communicate effectively with Client and all stakeholders at multiple levels; build and maintain positive relationships with all project partners.
- Communicate project status to Client management, internal customers and external parties as appropriate.
- Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, and forecast are developed and being tracked and executed to projects’ goals.
- Prepare project reports and documentation, communicate with Facilities Operations team, Facilities Engineering and Design team and Client management.
- Coordinate with Local Government Agencies, permitting authorities and inspectors.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-8 years’ experience managing advanced technology construction projects preferred.
- Familiarity of industrial construction and coordination with trade partners in the field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Client and all stakeholders at multiple levels; build and maintain positive relationships with all project partners.
- Knowledge of MEP systems used in high volume manufacturing facilities preferred.
- Proficient in LEAN construction principles and practices (i.e. Pull Plan, Last Planner System, etc.)
- Ensure safety culture is being followed throughout the entire project for all partners.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, etc). Knowledge of BIM/VDC software platforms (i.e. Navisworks, BIM360, etc.) desired.
- Diploma or Degree level qualification in Engineering or Construction Management. Candidates from a trades background (Electrical/Mechanical) with substantial supervisory experience in microelectronics/semiconductor projects will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
