We are looking for a skilled, experienced dental assistant to join our team. We are a progressive, established dental practice with a passion for excellence and enhancing people’s lives. Ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills and a warm, caring, compassionate demeanor. Must be x-ray certified, highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and a fast-learner. A strong work ethic and personal integrity are required.

38 hours per week (Mon-Thurs. 6:30 – 5:00) in the heart of downtown Portland, conveniently located near parking and public transportation. We offer competitive wages with excellent benefits including parking allowance, vacation, paid bonus days off, 401K, medical, dental, and more.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist the dentists and hygienist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
