Job Posting for Political Director at Dr. Raul Ruiz for Congress
Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz's campaign for re-election is looking for a Political Director to serve through the 2024 cycle and potentially beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the hardest working members of Congress in the country, and to do so in California's gorgeous Coachella Valley. Key Duties
- Manage all labor and political relationships, meetings, events, and call time
- In conjunction with campaign manager, develop and execute political outreach plan for the cycle with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and cycle metrics/goals
- Securing endorsements and everything that accompanies that, including drafting questionnaires
- Handling endorsement processes for candidates we support, including drafting endorsement statements, video copy, etc.
Qualifications
- Previous campaign experience required, California experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience as a Political Director or in a similar role, especially at the Congressional or statewide level, preferred
- Integrity, professionalism, strong work ethic, and passion for the job and team mission
- Accountability and exceptional attention to detail
- Self starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Compensation commensurate with experience. We offer health care reimbursement and relocation assistance. Temporary supporter housing may be possible if needed. This position is strictly in-person in Palm Desert, CA; starting off working remotely while securing housing may be allowed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
