The Payroll Accountant is an internal and external support function as part of the finance team at Dragos. The position will be primarily responsible for supporting payroll operations of the company focusing on both domestic and international payrolls. Scope of work includes supporting monthly and semimonthly payroll runs for domestic and international entities, collaborating with internal and external teams to exchange information and assure accuracy, support for the month end close process, assistance with account reconciliations, and financial statement support. Duties to include providing data to assist with audit and compliance and participating in special projects.

The role will report to the Payroll Administrator.

Support the Payroll Administrator in multiple aspects of the role.
• Provides payroll backup support for the US payroll.
• Support the payroll process across multiple entities.
• Support payroll related filings and registrations at the federal, state, and international level.
• Responsible for tracking payroll changes and communicating internally and externally.
• Support the month end close process in collaboration with the GL team.
• Support the audit process by providing and analyzing information.
• Answers payroll related questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Provides assistance with special projects on an as needed basis.
• Assist with Worker Compensation reporting and data gathering for the renewal process.
• GL support for all US and International entities.

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in a payroll related role

• Experience working with international payroll providers.

• Experience with UltiPro UKG software suite
• Experience in a fast pace, multi-entity, multi-payroll environment.
• Experience working with ERP accounting packages (NetSuite).
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and analytical thinking are a must.

• Salary: $95,000
• Base Benefits Equity = $143,500
