Drape Art Designs is a woman owned event decor company located in Rhode Island, specializing in custom drapery and lighting installations. We are a team of passionate creatives craftspeople, driven by a shared love for design and events. We travel to beautiful venues and private residences throughout New England, to install large-scale private and corporate events.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking creative individuals with a passion for design and event production. Previous experience or skill in areas of: event production, warehouse management, carpentry, electrical, fabric and sewing are all appreciated. However, we welcome individuals with many different skill sets and a willingness to learn! A love for outdoors and hands on work is also a plus!
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As an Event Production Crew Member, you will be responsible for event preparation, before the team goes to the installation. Assisting on-site with event installations/breakdowns of lighting, fabric, decor, rigging, as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Packing, prepping, cleaning and organizing a 5,000 sq ft warehouse.
- Maintaining inventory ordering supplies.
- Quality checks (test lights, replace bulbs, batteries, spot clean furniture, etc)
- Loading & Unloading trucks
- Basic tool knowledge, painting, electrical, soldering skills are a plus.
- Assembling new inventory
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, comfortable on a ladder
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
