Senior Accountant
Location: Vancouver (Hybrid)

About the role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll ensure month end reconciliations, consolidation, analysis and reporting. Your role would include understanding the financial performance and putting forth recommendations to improve business efficiency. You’ll lead a small team of accountants and create a strong working partnership with the Operations team.
You’ll ensure financials controls are established, policies are adapted and implemented and contribute to process improvements. Facilitating the audits for the department would be a part of the role.
About you
As an ideal candidate you would be a designated or finalist qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience in operational accounting preferably from a manufacturing or cost accounting background. Your strong financial know how, experience in working with medium to big ERP systems and reporting of financial performance would be essential to succeed.
Your strong communication and stakeholder relationships, resilience and agility would set you apart.
This role would have a hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week, in the Vancouver office.
