Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer needed for DRB Capital located in Delray Beach, FL. Oversee the financial performance of DRB Capital and its related entities. Ensure that the company meets its financial, regulatory and tax obligations while maintaining strong internal controls over accounting, financial, regulatory and tax reporting.  Monitor and ensure that entities have adequate liquidity, capital and cash flow to ensure smooth operations. Oversee accounting team and have responsibility for the activities and development of the accounting team. Improve accounting processes, implementing accounting policies and controls to ensure financial results are accurate. Oversee the development of Key Performance Indicators. Monitor the performance of the businesses and guide operational executives towards financially optimal decisions. Serve as a technical accounting advisor to the entire accounting staff. Provide technical accounting advice as it related to Consolidated Financial Statements, Financial Planning and Analysis, Financial Modeling, implementation of accounting standards, and financial automation. Telecommuting is permitted. 

Requires a CPA designation and bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in accounting or finance and ten (10) years of experience in leadership financial roles. Experience in Treasury and Capital markets including experience in oversight of interest rate risk hedging and Asset Liability Management, including work with Options pricing theory and valuation models. Experience managing funding, liquidity, capital risk requirement such as long and short term cash flow forecasting, contingent Funding Plans, Capital Allocation, capital structure and debt facility management to ensure sufficient liquidity and debt capacity. Experience with Asset Backed Securitizations, including work with transactional flows and creation of efficient process flows in servicing and servicing operations. Experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting, including developing driver-based forecasting, financial modelling for strategic initiatives, creating robust budgets and tracking performance against targets. Experience in building technology and operational framework to develop, monitor and report financial and operational KPI’s and KRI’s, as well as in leading efforts to improve operations to achieve quality management targets. Experience applying pricing, standard costing and cost volume profit analysis in financial services businesses. Experience in implementing and working with integrated ERP systems for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Consolidations, Planning and Forecasting. Experience with complex accounting standards such as derivative accounting, loan repurchase reserve modeling, multi-entry and multi-level consolidations, Accounting for VIEs, ASC 460, ASC 805 and ASC 860. Experience in internal control environments (COS/ COBIT) and implementing internal controls to ensure strong controls over financial reporting. Experience in financial reporting, preparation and accountability for GAAP financial statements.
