Corporate Logistics Coordinator
DRB Tunnel Solutions is a growing and vibrant software company in need of a Corporate Logistics Coordinator. DRB Systems (“DRB”) is the leading provider of technology-enabled devices and software solutions to the North American car wash industry. As a Corporate Logistics Coordinator, you will help maintain and build carrier and broker relationships at DRB. You will play a critical role in analyzing inbound and outbound shipments while being the point of contact for all transportation and logistics process alignment at DRB. This person will be the primary knowledge base for all DRB shipping points- legalities, efficiencies, standardization, and training.
What will our Corporate Logistics Coordinator
Review product descriptions, technical parameters, control lists and other resources to establish licensing jurisdiction, product classification codes, country of origin and other correlated information for hardware, data, and services for both imports and exports. Determine and validate internal information as well as information received from external parties.
- Corporate logistics SOP creation and education across multiple departments
- Work with business functions to facilitate logistics and shipping activities for efficient and compliant transactions. Communicate with DRB’s international affiliates, and other foreign and U.S. entities to coordinate imports into and exports from the U.S.
- Review documentation for inbound and outbound shipments to confirm correctness and compliance pre- and post-transactions. Analyze discrepancies and risk areas and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and CBP to ensure transactions are accomplished compliantly and efficiently. Monitor and track transactions and resolve issues to mitigate against delays and potential ramifications.
- Monitor activities and complete regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Maintain correct records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, maintain and update internal policies, procedures, and support tools. Identify improvements to existing processes and formulate new methods for efficiencies.
- Conduct training within DRB and its affiliates on import requirements, policies, trends, compliance actions, other topics of importance, and areas of specific interest to the organization.
- Provide support on export matters supporting DRB’s operations.
- Perform reviews, assessments, audits and investigations.
- Remain current on functional policies, requirements, changes, and trends.
- Strategic RFP identification/management
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management
The right candidate will have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Record of successful distribution and logistics management and 3 years of experience in equivalent job(s) preferred
- Exhibits versatility and adaptability while interacting with customers, suppliers and outsourced relationships
- ERP system experience.
- International import/export experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey ideas and suggestions via multiple modes of communication
