This role will start as a part-time position, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and the needs of the organization.
Job Description:
The IT Support Tech will provide essential technical support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, managing accounts, and maintaining our network. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver with excellent customer service skills and experience in IT management. You’ll also work with external vendors and help maintain data security across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage user accounts for new, existing, and outgoing employees
- Set up and configure computers, peripherals, and user accounts
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and office equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for staff
- Collaborate with external vendors like Xerox, Spectrum, and Verizon
- Review cyber risks and maintain data security and backup systems
- Create and maintain a ticketing system for tracking technical issues
- Document all technical processes and procedures
- Plan and manage software upgrades, maintenance, and repairs
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing IT systems and implementing SOPs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 and IT project management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record
- Successful completion of background checks and clearances (Criminal Record, Child Abuse Index, TB, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks related to technical equipment
- Must have good vision and be able to drive a motor vehicle
