Part-time Position (with option for Full time for the right candidate):
Dream Makers Vacation Services, LLC, is a multi-million dollar travel agency with clients all over the US, Canada, and the world. We pride ourselves on strong customer service with quick responses. We are able to achieve high customer ratings because we have a great support team that works behind the scenes.
Due to company growth we need to expand our support staff and are looking for an Administrative Associate. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We need people who are energetic, detail oriented, and have a strong work ethic to keep up with the fast paced environment. This position is either full or part-time and for the right person, you could work some of your hours from home (after training). Flexible hours depending on current needs with some evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with an ability to think outside of the box to create solutions. There are opportunities for discounts on travel and potential incentives throughout the year.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to invoicing, supporting client reservations, answering the phone, customer services oriented tasks, social media interaction, manage groups, etc. Travel experience and enthusiasm for travel is helpful. Basically, the job requires you take care of anything we ask so that our time is free to focus on the client.
What we are looking for in our Associates:
1. This is an Admin position. You must have a strong attention to detail. This skill will be tested before you are hired.
2. This a fast paced environment. You must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
3. Strong work ethic is required. You must be able to work with little supervision (after you are trained) and organize yourself—work to deadlines not hours.
4. Strong customer focus is required. That means, you must be able to think from the client perspective and deliver.
5. Computer literate in Word, Outlook, Gmail, Excel, and the ability to learn other systems quickly.
6. Travel experience is a plus, but not necessary.
7. The position is primarily 9-5, but a few weekends and opportunity for additional hours during peak travel times
