DAY-TO-DAY
In this facilities management position with our remodeling team,
you help us achieve the quality remodels we strive for. Your day is busy as you oversee a variety of materials management tasks. In the beginning stages of a remodel, you review the design specifications and confirm the requested materials. Once the materials have been ordered, you track and receive them. When they arrive, you process the documentation and update the inventory. A team player, you keep the operations manager current on any disruptions to the schedule so that everyone is in the know. You also form good relationships with our vendors, scrutinizing new ones so that we can be sure to work with the best.
Skilled in facilities management, you stock our inventory in an orderly fashion and schedule regular maintenance so that our warehouse and grounds remain in top shop. You also ensure that our vehicles are well-kept by inspecting them monthly, scheduling maintenance, and seeing to it that they are properly insured. Warranties for our work are also under your care. You keep a warranty log and dispatch services to resolve any warranty issues that arise. As you fulfill these duties and more, you are the grease that keeps the wheels of our business turning smoothly. Seeing what a difference you make each day fills you with satisfaction!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST / FACILITIES MANAGER
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- 5 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Experience with materials management
- Understanding of construction basics
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift
