What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly creative, self-starting XR Post Production Lead, with a social-first mindset and a strong background in post production, to create and deliver standout content. This role will lead our post production XR team out of Menlo Park and provide line management support.
Our client is an established and growing, fast-paced and collaborative, creative XR team. We are looking for someone fluent in the language of social video, experienced in delivering both creatively and commercially, comfortable with tight deadlines and managing cross stakeholder feedback.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the XR/Immersive media landscape from a production or creative deployment perspective and exposure to high profile projects.
This is a role which requires creative passion, visual-flair, knowledge of video post-production processes and workflows, the latest cross-platform social trends and innovative technologies.

The Day-to-Day
- The main point of contact for post production support within the XR service.
- Responsible for reporting a number of data points during weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual for XR related activities in line with SLAs.
- Communicates effectively to explain our services to technical and non-technical clients as needed.
- Ensures that a balanced workload is triaged among post production staff, and notifies line managers of high priority tasks or events.
- Drives and maintains a high quality of end product for the service via quality review and assurance processes.
- Develops the services post production support models through innovation and critical review. Ensuring the service provides industry leading end products.
- Takes on tasks in special projects or assignments as outlined by the supervisor and/or service delivery manager and executes them within the given timeline.
- Ideation (sound & vision), animatics & motion sketches during creative development & pre-production.
- Leading in the development of XR projects to craft and tell the stories requested by stakeholders.
- Creative editing & motion graphics on a wide variety of projects and content.
- Audio post & dubbing.
- Digital Media Asset Management at all times - following dept. protocols for varying ARs & resolutions.
- Drives the narrative and creative direction of deliverables.
- Excellent customer service, communication and client interaction, during all phases of production.
- Uphold and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle - including presenting WiPs, meeting deadlines, ensuring tech. specs, safety cages and other specifications are adhered to.
- Creation of SOP documents, completing detailed event reporting as well as utilising the event ticketing system.
- Drive in the adoption of new workflows and technologies; leading in the R&D and innovation within the post production XR space.
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion..
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Assists with training of staff and improving their technical proficiency.
What You’ll Need
- Experience managing a team of technical and creative people at varying levels across global locations.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience crafting a narrative from game footage, interviews, Q&A segments, or other recorded material.
- Experience with self-shooting, with the ability to create dynamic content from shot list to edit
- Knowledge and proven experience in immersive media; including but not limited to 180 and 360 formats.
- Great at taking direction, but also able to work independently and make sound editorial choices without additional support.
- Have a strong skill set in storytelling from pre production right through to post production.
- Passionate about new technologies and the impact they have on our craft, with an agile ability to learn new products and features.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
- A growth mindset.
- Ability to mentor colleagues.
- Experienced in illustration, design or color correction (AE) - DaVinci Resolve a plus
- Experienced in motion graphics - Cinema 4D a plus
- Optional: Producer/Directorial experience.
