Job Summary
This individual will be helping to facilitate programming during the CAEE summer camps. Summer camps are for middle and high school students in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering. The camp focuses on hands-on civil, architectural, and environmental engineering projects by middle and high school students enrolled in the camp hosted by Drexel's CAEE Department.
Essential Functions
- As a CAEE Summer Institute Facilitator, this individual will aid in the execution of daily engineering curriculum for campers.
- Coordinate and set up materials.
- Facilitate lessons.
- Take photographs of students working.
- Perform inventory.
- Supervise campers.
- Attend staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college preferred.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to be self-directed and independently manage time and expectations.
- Some experience working in a university setting.
- Experience working with minors.
Physical Demands
- Typically standing, walking.
