Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Lot Attendants, for our prestigious Hyatt Hotel in Riverside.
Schedule:
AM/PM, Weekend availability is a must!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Help direct traffic to keep the flow of car clean and organized.
- Identify and intercept vehicles that are not permitted onsite.
- Provide guest with the correct tickets
- Charge guest according to the rates
- Keep parking lot clean; duties include sweeping, picking up trash, emptying trash, etc.
- Monitor and notify management of any safety issues and concerns.
- Responsible to report any security or safety problems, safety hazards and potential security problems to the supervisors.
- Ensure associates are at all times attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and
- -->fellow associates.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Perform any other duties as requested by Manager or any other member of management
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.
- Must be proficient in Windows operating systems company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information data etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
- Must be able to work in a self-managed environment.
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS:
- Must be able to regularly walk, stand, sit, and travel to multiple property locations daily/weekly/monthly.
- Must be able to communicate with employees and others verbally and in writing.
- Must have the manual dexterity and ability to type and key in numbers.
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
- Able to lift and move and lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
- Regular and on-time attendance required.
OTHER:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
