JRayl Transport is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Akron, OH, home weekends ! JRayl is a large, asset-based logistics company that has been family owned and operated for 35 years.
Founders Tim Rayl and Jim St. John began the company with only five trucks on a small private farm in Akron, OH. Since its humble beginnings, JRayl has grown tremendously but still maintains a focus of creating a unique family environment for their CDL Class A Truck Drivers.
Compensation :
- Average weekly pay : up to $1,300-$1,500
- Base up to 55 CPM with an average of 2,400-2,800 miles weekly
- Pay based on experience
- Bonuses
- Safety Bonus : $250 per quarter with no violations
- Referral Bonus : $1,250 paid out after referral runs their first load
- Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule
- Home Time : Home Every Weekend
- Schedule : Sunday through Friday (5.5 days week). Home every weekend
- Route : Varies by customer
- Level of Touch : All No Touch Freight

- Automatic and manual
- Cummins Engines
- Inverters in all trucks

- Samsara ELD
- Heaters / Double Bunks
- Governed speed : 68 mph
Qualifications
- Must have valid CDL A License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a minimum of 12 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record within last 12 months (no more than 2 violations)
- Manual endorsements preferred
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius : Preferred within 50 miles of Akron, OH or be willing to relocate for this position
