Position Summary : This role will be responsible for expediting material, cycle counts of planned work orders and ownership of inventory levels.
Be able to identify potential inventory shortages with production schedule. Provide accurate cycle counting. Support the purchasing department by assisting in the procurement of goods and services.
Expediting (something about not being afraid to call a supplier). Confirming PO’s and filing freight claims Ensure part numbers and unit of measure match system and labeled correctly Always comply with Driverge’s Core Values (LOVE IT).
Complete other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in business or related field Minimum of 2 years’ experience in buying, preferably in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in a manufacturing ERP.
Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check Skills : Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and industry regulations. Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems is a plus.
