Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Manage and maintain the organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime and availability.
- Implement and enforce security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls, to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to develop and implement technology solutions that align with business needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior systems administrators and other IT staff.
- Conduct regular system audits, document processes and procedures, and maintain accurate inventory and asset records.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working as a systems administrator, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expertise in complex multi company configurations including Exchange, EntraID, Azure & M365, Domain trusts, M&A activity.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as Azure Virtual machines or VMware.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DFS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience managing Cisco Meraki, Zscaler, ThreatLocker, and Druva Backup environments.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform and familiarity with hybrid cloud environments including SSO.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware, including servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Purview a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures to protect systems and data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities and risks.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and task optimization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid Driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history
