Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage and maintain the organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime and availability.
  • Implement and enforce security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls, to protect the organization's data and systems.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to develop and implement technology solutions that align with business needs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior systems administrators and other IT staff.
  • Conduct regular system audits, document processes and procedures, and maintain accurate inventory and asset records.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience working as a systems administrator, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Expertise in complex multi company configurations including Exchange, EntraID, Azure & M365, Domain trusts, M&A activity.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies, such as Azure Virtual machines or VMware.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DFS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience managing Cisco Meraki, Zscaler, ThreatLocker, and Druva Backup environments.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and familiarity with hybrid cloud environments including SSO.
  • Expertise in managing and troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware, including servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Purview a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and task optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid Driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Occasional work after-hours and on weekends
