Information Manager
Overview:
Drodex is seeking an Information Manager to support the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). ASPR is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASPR was created under the Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters.
This full time position and will be performed in the designated greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area and virtually as identified.
Responsibilities:
- Provides coordination, analytical support, and reporting to support preparedness and disasters operations decision making.
- Serves as information manager to support the mission of the Information Management Division and Secretary's Operation Center (SOC).
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in public health/emergency response or related scientific field, knowledge of the scientific public health issues and apply them to preparedness and response. Although 4 year experience is desired, graduate and post-graduate education can be substituted for experience.
- Advanced level Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat skills.
Required Clearance:
- Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship)
Desired Experience:
- Basic Microsoft SharePoint and ArcGIS skills preferred, but not required.
