Quality Assurance Supervisor
Purpose
In relation to the overall objective of the function to assure the safety, compliance, legality and quality of our prod-ucts, you will work largely supporting the execution of the Quality Assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Provide support to the QA Manager by performing timely analysis and interpretation / trending of reported data from multiple sources.
Ensure Quality Management System documentation is generated, maintained, stored and achieved in compliance with company internal procedures
Lead and implement assigned actions related to quality assurance requirements.
Lead the execution of the internal audit program and subsequent CAPA process.
Maintain and to demonstrate and be able to provide a good level of knowledge and interpretation of quality related policies, standards, procedures and requirements in daily work life e.g. reviewing business processes, improvement projects, audits, meetings etc.
Assess the capability of external service providers, vendors, contractors or toll manufacturers to ensure that their products or services meet the organization's quality standards/requirements/contractual requirements.
Participate in audits of external service providers, raw material vendors and as a Lead Auditor
Able to provide guidance to stakeholders regarding the update of their departmental manuals and SOP’s.
Participate and lead the site Quality risk assessments (eg.: HACCP, etc)
Lead non-conformance investigations and make batch release decisions associated to process deviations
Analyze and interpret Continuous Improvement initiatives and data / Performance Indicators (including generating reports, key statistics and follow up) / improvement project data, define and propose improve-ments. Execute approved actions
Promote quality principles and culture by working cross functionally, being visible, walking the floor, participating in daily and weekly site meetings in multiple functions
Work aligned with regional and global strategies
Academic Background
Bachelor degree in a Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, Continuous Improvement or related disci-pline.
Professional Experience
Overall work experience of 5 years in a similar position.
HACCP
Technical Skills
Experience of using computer based Management Systems and applications such as Microsoft Office. Previous SAP experience is a plus.
Expert level of understanding of the principles of Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.
Good knowledge of business processes in Operations and in other Site functions/businesses on Site e.g. Manufacturing, distribution and Creation, Procurement, Sample/Application labs (as required).
