DroneUp is seeking a Market Leader to lead our Hub Operations teams in the Bentonville, Farmington, and Roger, AR areas. Market Leaders must be able to demonstrate successful leadership ability while focusing on excellence and consistent execution of DroneUp standards. Even when you are not present, you are able to maintain a consistent influence in each Hub you support. You articulate the vision of DroneUp to inspire and make an impact daily on your leadership teams and employees while also driving change in an ever evolving industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of daily operations
- Maintain a culture of excellence for Hub Operations
- Support OKR-setting, ongoing monitoring and governance for Hub Operations
- Provide regular reporting updates at monthly and quarterly OKR review forums
- Work collaboratively with flight operations leadership to identify project tracking metrics and progress towards new goals—both short and long term—as they arise
- Oversee a wide variety of initiatives for improving flight operations functions ranging from geospatial data flow to technical publication development
- Represent the company in the local assigned area
- Contribute subject matter expertise on aviation operations to the flight operations team in various forums
- Act as an agent of change, continually helping Hub Operation teams find clarity, business maturity and refine processes as the business scales
- Educate and elevate the Hub Leaders and develop them for future advancement
- Monitor and report on daily, weekly and monthly performance trends
- Hire and support the training and development of the teams in your market
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience building leadership teams and developing talent to support growth
- 5 or more years managing operational teams across multiple geographies
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
- Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate across multiple channels, up and down the organization, and externally with partners
- Experience in a mature, large scale aviation or drone operation a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage a culture and ensure standards are met
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel when needed all based on business needs
