Job Description
HAMPTON CENTER

The Maintenance Technician/Painter reports directly to the Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for painting vacant units prior to move-in and any painting needed through out the community.
- Prepare and paint vacant apartments.
- Paint kitchen and/or bath cabinets.
- Paint common areas throughout property to include, but not limited to, common hallways, elevator surrounds, laundry rooms, fitness centers, etc.
- Paint building exterior to include, but not limited to, handrails, light poles, concrete pillars, stairs, etc.
- Drywall repair and finishing.
- Ceiling texture repair and finishing.
- Paint and drywall repair in occupied apartments when required.
- Perform all duties with the highest consideration for safety.
- Continually inspect buildings, grounds and common areas to identify needed preventative maintenance, to ensure that the buildings and common areas are clean and that the grounds are being properly maintained, and to identify current and potential safety hazards.
- Ready vacant apartments for occupancy following Drucker Falk, guidelines.
- Always maintain the highest standards of resident relations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- One (1) years’ experience with interior painting.
- Experience with exterior repairs.
- Understanding of paint preparation (taping, sanding, sheetrock repair).
- General carpentry skills required to make repairs.
