What we would be looking for in the future when a Virtual Events Specialist position opens up:
The Global Virtual Event Specialist is responsible for the management of logistics and execution for Druva virtual events worldwide. This person will play a lead role in coordinating cross-functional teams to execute on all the various pieces of the virtual/hybrid conference experience and manage the expense budgets for the events. The position requires an individual who can efficiently progress multiple projects and drive effective collaboration between teams. This person should be able to think both operationally and creatively and communicate impactfully in order to deliver consistent, continuously improving virtual experiences that drive engagement from the right job titles and result in net new leads, MQLs, or pipeline acceleration.
Responsibilities
Virtual Events
- Work with teams around the world to produce impactful webinars and virtual events (with multiple simultaneous breakout sessions and presenters)
- Produce both first party and third party webinars
- Work split and hours lean toward the United States roughly 75% ; this resource will need to be U.S. based, fully remote, but assist in EMEA and APAC regions as well
- Proactive self-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of their projects and events and the results thereof
- Must have strong project management skills, with experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Management and program oversight of all virtual events including budgets, planning, programming, experiences and execution. This includes but is not limited to scheduling and leading planning meetings, management of the event calendar, promotion of webinars, status reports, creation of the project schedule, rehearsals with presenters, and post event engagement and results.
- Management of virtual live day execution to include but not limited to developing program show flow, virtual producer staff assignments, virtual networking breaks, onsite management of production team recordings and streaming.
- Stay up to date on webinar trends and recommend changes to improve the quality of our webinars
- Pre-show event prep/proofing/testing on virtual platforms.
- Virtual Producer experience with event technology and tools, such as event management software, virtual event platforms, and event analytics tools examples are: ON24, Zoom, Slido, Google Workspace
- Leverage data and analytics to measure event impact and ROI, and use insights to inform future event planning and optimization
- Continuously evaluate and improve event processes to drive greater efficiency, effectiveness, and impact
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices in event management, and incorporate innovative approaches to increase interactivity and engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and resolve conflicts effectively

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $74,000 and $98,667/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity.
